Bohm Aharonov !
In this report, we present a comprehensive discussion on the famous Aharonov-Bomb Effect (Aharonov & Bohm (1959)), by setting up Feynman’s path integral formalism and its applying it to solve the AB effect. In particular, we examine the detailed calculations provided by Gerry & Singh (1979) for the propagator K(r′′,r′;τ) for an electron traveling through a region where the magnetic field is zero, but the vector potential is non-zero.
Our analysis demonstrates that both traditional methods and those based on path integrals can successfully account for the observed shift in the interference pattern when the magnetic flux (ΦB) of the solenoid.
